Our story
Three generations in the glass trade
It started with Robert “Bob” Swatkowski. A U.S. Navy veteran, Bob began installing doors and windows in 1966 and opened his own shop, Sun City Glass, in 1985. He insisted on quality workmanship — nothing left the shop he wouldn't put in his own home.
Karen Wells managed Brea Glass for 18 years before buying Sun City Glass in 1995 and running it until she retired in 2010. She's the one who set the customer-service standard the family still works to — and she still helps with the books.
Today Karen and Bob's Son—Dean—and his wife Lynndsy run Banning Glass, Mirror, and Screen with the help of their Son—Dustin—and dedicated employees.
